Dr. Holsworth graduated in 1991 from the University of Melbourne Veterinary School, and became Member of the Surgery College of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 1995. Relocated to the US in 1999 for International Surgical Fellowship at Michigan State Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Completed Surgical Residency at Michigan State Veterinary Teaching Hospital in 2003. Examined Diplomate of American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) in 2004. Spent past twenty years in specialty clinical practice, clinical research, as surgical instructor and in surgical instrument and implant design. Founding Fellow of ACVS Minimally Invasive Small Animal Orthopedic Surgery. Founder and Surgical Director of VetSurg in Ventura, California, and surgical curriculum contributor for large North American continuing education program. Author of multiple surgical journal and book chapter publications and educational speaker at meetings in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia.
