Cindy Wolf, DVM taught small ruminant health and production to veterinary students at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine for 34 years. In early 2018 she retired from that career path and began working full-time at her family’s sheep, beef, and goat farm and part-time as a solo veterinary practitioner. She has also served on the Secretary of Agriculture’s Advisory Committee on Animal Health, AVMA’s Animal Welfare committee and AVMA’s Animal Agriculture Liaison Committee for multiple terms. She co-chairs the American Sheep Industry ‘s Animal Health committee and chairs the AASRP Student Educational Opportunities committee. She has been a leader regarding animal identification for the sheep industry relative to Scrapie eradication and animal disease traceability.
