What is Junior Aces?

Junior ACEs is a week-long, awesome open house showcasing the year-round youth engagement spearheaded by the Aerospace Center for Excellence.

Get ready for a deep dive into all things related to STEM and aerospace learning here at the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo.

Youth attendees of the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo between the ages of 7 and 17 have complete access to all Junior ACE’s activities.

Junior ACEs spans across three locations on the grounds:

Skylab Innovation Center
Buehler Restoration and Skills Center
Junior ACEs Tent located in the Future ‘n Flight Plaza.

Junior ACEs Activities include:

  • Sphero Robots – The ultimate coding robotic ball! Come explore with us as you learn coding skills, and inventiveness.
  • 3D Printing – Unleash your creativity! Transform your ideas from sketches to tangible objects.
  • NOAA Science On a Sphere – Immerse yourself in all things Earth Space Science on our global display system that projects visualizations of planetary data on a six food diameter sphere.
  • Flight Simulation – Learn how to fly with Redbird Flight Simulations! Build an airplane – Learn how to build an airplane in the Buehler Restoration and Skills Center

  2. Grab a map and locate Junior ACE activities
  3. Complete 10 activities to receive your Junior ACEs reward
