Tools for Your Toolbox When Calling Upon Swine Clients

This session will offer tools when working with pig farmers of all sizes and types. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the Common Swine Industry Audit, Secure Pork Supply, The Livestock Project, the Pork Industry’s Sustainability initiative, and other tools. Attendees will learn about the veterinarians’ role in the Common Swine Industry Audit and where to find information to learn more. Attendees will get an overview of the Secure Pork Supply Plan and learn about resources for veterinarians. Attendees will learn how they can gain continuing education credits through The Livestock Project courses that are designed to train veterinarians and other animal health professionals about organic and alternative livestock production practices, rules, and available treatments.
