Foreign Animal Diseases & Diagnosis

An overview of Minnesota's emergency disease management efforts for swine will be discussed. Also, discussed will be FAD diagnosis, submission of samples, and how small and medium, niche and organic pig farms fit into Minnesota's disease preparedness plan. Attendees will receive a FAD pack from National Pork Board, and small farm biosecurity practices will be covered.
