Involved in composites as a teen repairing broken boats leading to custom body work. Worked at 3 Corvette shops to help pay for college. After graduating joined the Navy R&D center composite materials branch. For 26 years managed the development and application of composite technology to the U.S. Navy Fleet focused at maintenance reduction. Expertise in many aspects of composite materials and processes. Company now provides composite engineering to government and industry. IFR private pilot owns a Bonanza and building a composite airplane.
