Christina Smalls is the Chief Operating Officer for the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, the state’s largest professional trade association. Over her 18 years at the association, she has served in the government affairs, risk management, and operations departments. Christina works with the association’s CEO to ensure that the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Leadership team are fully informed as to the conditions and operations of the association and all the crucial factors influencing them. She also manages the member communications department, overseeing the association’s print and digital platforms and strategy. In 2020, she was instrumental in the formation of the association’s new Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and currently serves as the committee’s staff liaison. Christina believes that collaboration and cooperation help foster an environment of inclusion which leads to successful teamwork. In 2021 she served on the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Association Executive Committee and Career Development Workgroup; and in 2022 he was a member of their Association Executive Committee’s DEI Workgroup. Christina earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Western International University. In 2016, Christina earned her At Home with Diversity certification and the REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) professional designation from NAR; she completed her Human Resources Management certification from Phoenix College in 2020. In her spare time, Christina enjoys music, home improvement projects, binge-watching Netflix shows, and spending time with her son Shane and their rescue dog, Dewi.
