Director, Consumer Advocacy

Erin Murphy is a political communications professional. At NAR, she is the Director for Consumer Advocacy. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Consumer Advocacy Outreach Program, including staffing the 25-member Consumer Advocacy Outreach Advisory Board and managing the 10 million national consumer database, consumer advocacy grant and Consumer Calls for Action at the state and local level. She has been with NAR since 2008, previously directed the implementation of strategic advocacy and member involvement plan, “Building a Culture of Advocacy.”
Prior to joining the REALTORS®, Erin managed the Federal Judiciary’s website at the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, and worked as a Senior Communications Specialist for the Brookings Institution’s Presidential Appointee Initiative.
