Sam Scott has been Director of Information and Commercial Services for the Houston Association of Realtors’® for over 20 years. He is responsible for coordinating data access policies as well as procurement of information for use with the MLS and managing the delivery of commercial services.

Prior to joining HAR, Sam was the EVP of Landata, the real estate information subsidiary of Stewart Title for over 5 years and responsible for managing GIS mapping and data integration projects and delivering integrated public records data for MLS clients.
Sam worked in the Houston office of Vinson & Elkins as a Real Estate researcher for 5 years. Responsible for projects in: Real Estate Development, Energy Systems and Litigation Support.

Sam held a similar position for 2 years with the Honolulu Law Firm of Carlsmith Ball, specialized in Development, Land Title and Litigation Support
