Monica Solis Pena has worked in management for over 22 years. She currently works as the Director of Programs for Council of Multiple Listing Services. She has been part of the real estate industry since 2016 when she became CEO of Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS® (GMAR). In her time at GMAR, she led the organization through record fundraising initiatives, the conversion of their MLS and AMS systems; increased membership enrollment by 56% over a three-year period. Additionally, GMAR added a Diversity & Inclusion Council to their organization in 2019 and it later become a full committee of the organization. Monica received her RCE in March of 2019; C2EX in December of 2019; CMLX1 in March of 2021; AHWD in April 2021; and RESO RED-B in August of 2021. She has served on various NAR Work Groups and in 2022 proudly served on the Diversity Committee. Monica was recognized for her service to members and her personal and professional achievements by being named the 2021 Tom D. Morton Association Executive of the Year at the 2022Texas REALTORS® Winter Meeting.
