NWMLS, a “not-for-profit” Washington State corporation based in Kirkland, WA, is an association of over 2000 real estate firms serving over 35,000 real estate licensees across much of Washington state. Tom, as CEO, oversees strategic direction and the delivery of member policies, services, customer support, communications, and training. Besides working with the volunteer leadership, he oversees a staff of 100+ to service the membership. The primary member tools include: information systems for property search, public records data, appointment scheduling, key boxes, electronic forms and transaction management. The staff provides support and training for all of these tools. Additionally, NWMLS develops and is proprietor of the standardized statewide residential real estate forms. It supports many Realtor Associations with funding toward their own government affairs efforts. Beyond that, NWMLS actively participates as a member of: MLS GRID, Broker Public Portal, RESO, MLS Round Table, and COVE MLS Group.
