Russell Hokanson is the Chief Executive Officer of the Seattle King County Association of REALTORS®, a trade association of over 7500 real estate agents in King County, Washington.
 
Russ has 27 years of experience in association management and focuses his efforts on leadership development, public policy and membership communications.  He served as a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy Advisory Board in 2020 and 2021.
 
He holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a certificate in non-profit management from the Graham School at the University of Chicago.  He earned his BA at the University of Washington in Seattle. 
 
Russ served as the staff director to the Lieutenant Governor of Washington State in 1989 and has held legislative staff positions at the congressional and state level, as well as public affairs positions in the Northwest telecommunications industry.
