Don’t let his youthful appearance fool you, Jim Haisler has been in the real estate industry over 25 years first working as a licensed sale’s agent and then Managing Broker.  After serving on numerous Association committees and volunteer positions, Haisler moved into a staff position in association management.  He has worked for three different associations but has spent the last 17 years as CEO of the Heartland REALTOR Organization.  Heartland serves roughly 1200 real estate professionals in and around McHenry County and, in general, Northern IL and Southern WI. He still maintains a Brokers license, a CE Instructor’s license as well as a Pre-license Instructor’s license for the State of Illinois.  He also served 14 years on the Board of Directors of the region’s Multiple Listing Service, MRED LLC. Additionally, for the National Association of REALTORS Haisler has served as Chairperson for their RCE Committee and as Dean of the 2020 AE Institute.  He currently serves as Chair of NARs AE Recognitions and Recommendations Committee. His educational accomplishments have earned him 7 college degrees including a Master’s Degree in Real Estate. He has numerous industry designations but is most proud of being inducted in NAR’s Dr. Almon “Bud” Smith Society back in 2014. Outside of real estate, he enjoys early morning bike rides, keeping their family’s pet chickens, woodworking and beekeeping.
