Dr. Garcia received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science in 1998 and her Master of Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of London Royal Veterinary College in 2010. She spent 20 plus years working in the turkey industry before joining the Board of Animal Health as the Executive Director in August of 2022.
