Dr. Sarrafian earned her DVM at Colorado State University, completed an equine medicine and surgery internship at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, and her equine surgery residency at UC-Davis. Dr. Sarrafian also earned her PhD in Integrative Pathobiology from the University of California-Davis. She has years of experience as a large animal veterinary surgeon. Dr. Sarrafian is currently a research associate with the Van Cleve Cardiac Regenerative Medicine Program at the Mayo Clinic where she is dedicated to leadership in the field of translational pre-clinical research models.
