Founded in the 1930s to support the Michigan Humanistic Series of papyrological publications, the Press has a robust list of publications both print and digital across the spectrum of Classical Studies.

Our virtual exhibit showcases recent scholarship in Classical Philology, Archaeology, and Ancient History. We offer books designed for classroom use, especially language pedagogy in the Michigan Classical Commentaries series, scholarly monographs, reference works, and titles of more general interest including Classical reception. We have a deep backlist across many series, including the Thomas Spencer Jerome Lectures, the newly revived P.Mich series, and our partners the American Society of Papyrologists.
