Upcoming FDA Changes Regarding Reimplanting: What You Need to Know

The FDA has asked implant manufacturers to change the language on growth-promoting implant labels to basically restrict reimplanting within a production phase after June 2023.  This change will affect implant programs, particularly in feedlot cattle, and will require producers and their advisors to understand implant labeling, production phases, and how to match an implant program to specific production situations.
