Veterinary Integrative medicine is the blending of both conventional and alternative medicine where there is evidence for both to have clinical relevance to our patients. Integrative medicine takes into account environmental and emotional factors when considering managing a medical condition. Integrative medicine is more than a collection of therapies, it is a paradigm shift that rethinks our approach to disease and more importantly to health. Integrative medicine treats the patient with disease, not just the disease. It is results oriented and patient centered.
