Veterinarians are known for working with animals, but they work with people too. It's not uncommon for vets to come into contact with clients that may be dealing with a high stress load. When people are severely stressed or even in crisis, their feelings may come up unexpectedly and we may not know how to respond. In this session, we will learn how to identify stress in others and discuss how strong communication skills can help de-escalate high stress situations. This session is for anyone who has ever thought, "I should say something, but I don't know what to say."
