Incorporating avian patients into veterinary practice can be a rewarding but also challenging experience. Due to the significantly different anatomy, physiology, and disorders of pet birds, veterinarians may feel intimidated treating birds. This session aims to introduce clinical avian medicine and provide a gateway to becoming more confident and comfortable with seeing avian patients.
