Mike worked at the US Navy R&D laboratory for 31 years. Twenty-six years in the composite materials branch managing research and development for the application to Fleet problems. Upon leaving the Lab he started an engineering consulting business focused at innovative and unique composite technologies. He is an instrument rated pilot and has been building a composite airplane for many years. He owns and flies a Beech Bonanza. Richard owns and operates Aviation Composites. He supports the sport aircraft builder and manufactures composite aircraft components for commercial aircraft companies using vacuum infusion technology. He built his first composite airplane as a teenager. Richard is a private pilot.
