Description

Whereas most grammar-translation Latin classes work through one textbook with infrequent departures, the Comprehensible Input Latin classroom offers the freedom to use multiple textbooks and/or authentic sources. The instructor can even choose to forego preexisting materials and produce their own content for students. With all these options available, how does a CI-inclined educator curate their resources? Perhaps the biggest obstacle teachers face in exploring CI is the perceived degree of difficulty in simply getting the ball rolling. By taking informal time to discuss best practices around sources, veteran teachers can learn new tricks while opening the door for greener colleagues.
