SCS-53 (Roundtable 1): Takeaways from the 2023 NEH Institute on the Performance of Roman Comedy

In this roundtable discussion session, the co-directors of the summer 2023 National Endowment for the Humanities Institute for Higher Education Faculty, "The Performance of Roman Comedy," will share an overview of and hands-on takeaways from the Institute's deep dive into the state of the scholarship in this lively and burgeoning subfield, as well as lessons learned from adaptation, rehearsal, performance, filming, and development of curriculum for the teaching of numerous scenes from Plautus and Terence. Roundtable attendees will engage with digital and physical materials from the Institute and with Institute alums.
